Ilanna Saltzman
The Director
Ilanna Saltzman is a Brooklyn-based theatre artist who specializes in physical theater and devised work. She is a company member and teaching artist with Bond Street Theatre. With them, she has directed and devised new work, taught theater, and performed in Azerbaijan, Guatemala, India, Nepal, and NYC. She is a teaching artist with Urban Stages, where she develops new plays in senior centers. She created the original TYA show Amelia and Her Paper Tigers and performs it throughout NYC. She has performed as a stilt-walker in local festivals, solo storyteller and puppeteer in New Jersey schools and libraries, and a Cuban salsa dancer in venues around the city. Ilanna trained in Commedia dell'Arte at the Accademia dell'Arte in Arezzo, Italy; Butoh and physical theater with the Ume Group in NYC; and Shakespeare performance at Shakespeare and Company in Western Massachusetts. BA in Acting and Directing from Skidmore College.
Elizabeth Gannon
Clown and Creator
Elizabeth is a Clown. She made a show about being clown and a dancer. She hopes very much that you see it and enjoy it. Previously, she created a clown ensemble called The Canniballoon Brigade, a group of very fun clowns that performed in Granville, OH. She has studied Commedia dell'Arte in Italy. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Dance from Denison University.
